Fished Indian creek resorvoir

Yesterday. Man that is a tough lake to fish. Only got two bites all day. One was a good one though.

I keep trying to get up there, in-laws are only 15 minutes away. But I can’t seem to ever get away for a trip.

Nice! I live about 15 minutes from Indian Creek. I drive to Toledo Bend to fish…..

These were in 6-10 feet of water. Grass was thick in spots and was ripping swim baits through the grass to get strikes. Only caught one jack fish. But I know there’s plenty in there. They did have bass blowing up shad in the middle of the lake, but I heard the bass were small.

Last weekend there at least 7 boats just sitting in the middle waiting. I never saw any schools stay up long enough to interest me.

Buddies have been going recently. Started schooling a couple weeks ago. My favorite time to fish the lake.
