COVID vaccine and door to door invasion.

Yesterday I rec'd. a vm msg. from a health dept. claiming that said call concerned a voluntary survey and that repeated attempts would be made to contact someone. I'm guessing an inquiry into my vac. status would have been asked. Wonder if this so called survey was just a ruse for the Dems. to pinpoint those who are un-vaxed. My response, I blocked the #.

I got the same call on Monday. It did it was from CDC and they wanted me to take a survey on the vaccination.
I have not had the shot.

I didn’t answer because I didn’t know the phone #. If it is a number not plugged in as a contact, I always let it go to VM. They left a VM.

It just dawned on me that this door to door campaign is nothing but a different form of ballot harvesting. When an “official” shows up at your door in urge you to “do the right thing”. It is a form of intimidation whether they admit it or not. There is certainly coercion and the implication that if you don’t follow, you’re somehow doing something wrong.
This is widely known in door to door polltaking were people said they would definitely vote for a black candidate even though they never had any intention of doing so.( There is a name for that statistical analysis , but it escapes me right now. ) Basically by coming at you where you live, the unspoken message here is that you will comply, and we are going to make sure of it

You're right, it is intimidation. What's bothering is why are all these "just shy of coercion" tactics are being employed for a virus with a 1.9% (roughly) death rate and cases going down in numbers. As our current administration has been less than forthcoming about so much, there is reason for concern.

Yep, let them know you had the JJ on such and such date, the the moderns on this date, the Pfizer on this date, and that you're already signed up for the booster that hasn't been approved yet.

Did a CDC survey on the phone this week. When it came to race and vaccination status I told them it was none of their business. Those were the last two questions as she politely thanked me for my time.

I’m just going to answer every single government officials question with a series of leftest talking points.
For example they come to my door:
Good Afternoon.
Please refrain from assuming my mood and did you know afternoon is a term developed in slave times to force slaves into longer labors by telling them they must work after the noon?
We are going door to door….
Please do not address me until you have asked my preferred gender pronouns and then please use those.
Do you have the shot?
Which shot? Please understand that my truth is literally shaking thinking about the trauma of dealing with the sexist patriarchy running the corrupt medical field. The ACA didn’t go far enough. Please don’t make me relive that traumatic experience of going to see a noncovered health care provider. Do you know how much it costs? Why hasn’t the government brought costs down?
And on and on until they leave. I recommend we all do this. You can circle argue for hours using leftest talking points without ever actually saying anything at all.

Considering guidance from the CDC believes 5-6 times as many infection aren’t even tested and counted, the death rate isn’t anywhere near that.
