A Grizzly would have to be extremely desperate to fight a full grown bull moose.
This. You don't realize how massive they are until you are next to one.

It's a similar question to if a male lion can take down a cape buffalo. They can, but it isn't a sure thing and many die trying.

The weight difference between a lion and Cape buffalo is significantly more dramatic than a grizzly bear and a bull moose

600-1,000 versus 840-1,500 bear versus moose
420-500 versus 935-1,910 lion versus a Cape buffalo

No single lion, male or female, is taking on a healthy cape buffalo one on one.

It takes 3-4 lions to take down a big buff, and even then it can be a tremendous struggle, with one or more of the lions being severely injured.

p.s. This topic belongs on the Outdoor board, imo.

Clydesdale horses weigh 2000 pounds often and I've been next to those. The Alaskan moose is the largest subspecies of all, weighing in at between 660 pounds and 1,500 pounds.

I'm going with the 800 pound grizzly 8 times out of ten.
