The NBA Finals are a snoozefest without Lebron James

You may love him, you may hate him ... but without King James, nobody other than the most strident Bucks/Suns fans are going to watch the finalS (or those with no life who have nothing better to do).
Once the Lakers were out, I haven't watched one minute of NBA play.
This isn't new. What was a final like without Jordan back in Jordan's day? Irrelevant (and James > Jordan and it is not even close).

Disagreed. This is the first year where I’m excited to (hopefully) watch 7 games, while hating nobody on either team.

I am a big nba fan this is the first finals that I can remember where it is not appointment viewing. If I have to miss a game or two or three it is NBD.

I still remember everyone hating Latrell Sprewell back in the day. I caught some bs because he was my favorite player at the time.

It's truly the opposite. I wouldn't watch the Finals with Lebron, but have watched almost every playoff game without Lebron.

The playoffs ratings this year disagree with you completely. LeBald James out of the playoffs early and them having their best ratings in a decade is no coincidence.

There is a reason many NBA players call Lebron "King James."
Jordan is a great player, certainly a top five, but he's below Lebron James.
