Moore, my guy, will be left out of this discussion.

Who are you rooting for?

Jrue winning is bad for our picks, even if they are way down the line, so obviously the Suns. If Giannis is knocking on 30 without a title there's no way he's staying there and that's a not FA destination team. He wins one now and he might say "frick it I'll stay and at least be Dirk" and they keep all our picks in the mid 20s.

Not sure

It sucks thag Giannis is hurt because if he was healthy and lost on the finals he might get frustrated and push his way out

It’s really hard for him to feel like he doesn’t have the supporting cast at this point.

I like Jrue but even with Giannis I don’t think they can stop the Suns. They are right now what the Pelicans need to be in the next 2 seasons. They have lights out shooting and a big man that can run the floor, protect the rim and is one of the best offensive rebounders in the NBA. They have scrappy guys who get after you on defense and most importantly have a floor general PG that can run the offense. This young Pels team already has a great base to build from but they have to trade for a veteran player that can be this team’s CP3.

Kind of feel like this may be CPs last real shot at a ring. Id love to see him get it. Jrue should get a few shots with this team

Pulling for Cp3 over Jrue easily. Hall of fame player, best player in our franchise’s history, and I think he actually enjoyed his time here and would’ve happily come back here if Griff had any kind of sense and traded for him and paid him the money we ended up paying Bled and Adams.

Also, how can you pull against Monty? What a fricking guy. Just a gem of a human being. Out of everyone in either organization he deserves personal success and happiness the most. Guy has been through a lot and he’s still out there kicking arse. He’s an inspirational figure tbh.

I like Jrue fine, but what kind of message does is send to Zion and BI, if AD leaves and immediately wins a ring and Jrue leaves the next season and immediately wins a ring? It already looks bad enough. Back to back years wpuld be fricking terrible. You can go ahead and punch Zion’s ticket out of here if that happens. But the Suns winning would mitigate the situation a bit as they have a bunch of New Orleans ties, but they didn’t win it all the second they left New Orleans. They actually had to struggle and fight for it.

Also, the draft picks angle. Giannis is more likely to leave if the Bucks keep falling short. If he wins one, I think he’s a Bucks lifer like Dirk was for the Mavs.

I think the message is already pretty clear, if you team up with best nba players you have a great shot at a ring lol

Pathetic loser because I don’t want a player I don’t like to win a championship. Great insult. My all time favorite hornets/pelicans game was when we stomped his arse in his return to the hive in a clippers uniform. Also the game Jason smith hard fouled Blake griffin. Best game I have ever been too. Boo’ed Paul every touch.

For me, it's a tough call between rooting for Monty and rooting for Jrue. I don't really care about CP3 either way.

I think I will pull for the Bucks. And, and before you start telling me I'm a bad fan, I don't agree that it's better for us if the Bucks lose.

I’ll be fine with whoever wins.

That being said, it’s almost like many either weren’t around or have forgotten how CP3 handled himself in 2011.

Exactly! The man left us hanging because he thought he had a better chance with the clippers. Funny enough he got as far with the clippers as he did with the hornets. He did almost win as a rocket and he has a chance again now. I’d love to see Monty win one, but not Chris!

He wanted out only to go to NY or LA severely limiting the possibilities of what the Hornets could get back in return. Shot down a trade with GS that would have returned Curry/Thompson. Instead we get Kaman, Aminu and of course Eric Gordon.

All he did was tell GS he wouldn't sign an extension with them. So technically, GS shot the trade down.

"All he did?" That was the key to the trade.

I Want Suns's victory cause CP3 and Monty Williams

Point is, GS made the decision, not Paul.

All he did was say he won't sign the extension, which there's nothing at all wrong with doing. Why do you say he handled himself so poorly if that's all he did?

Should he have lied to GS? Would that be handling it well?
