Iron Man 3 sucks, but it's still far superior to the rest. Those are some garbage films.

I've said it before, Iron Man 3 sucks as a standalone movie.
But when you view it in the context of the MCU being a series, and each movie is an episode (ok, maybe 2 when you consider the length), it moves way up the ratings. This is the point where Tony stops being an arrogant arse showing off his super suit, and becomes fixated on defending the Earth at all cost (leading to his actions the rest of the story).
It's also where he integrates the Extremis nanotech into his suit tech, and moves from being a guy in a hotrod suit, to a guy with basically Witchblade armor (the suit can morph into anything, is semi-sentient, and exists within him at all times).

Without these two developments, Tony and the rest of the MCU story is drastically different.
Thanos can find the Reality Stone another way, if you drop Thor 2. Loki remains a likable anti-hero in Ragnarok.

I've avoided the latest F4, GL was a bitter disappointment to me (I grew up a big fan), and Daredevil was mildly interesting, but led nowhere.

I've never thought IM3 was that bad. Wasn't the best MCU effort, but I thought it was okay. But I was never invested in the comics so a faux-Mandarin didn't offend me to my core.
