Maybe LSU compliance isn’t the problem after all

We’ve been blaming LSU compliance for years for being too strict about weed, but its obvious that LSU just has some of the dumbest athletes (past & present) in the world when it comes to marijuana use.
Forget the debate about whether marijuana should be legal or illegal. They know its against the rules to use it but they don’t care.
Its one thing for a starting football player to be kicked off the team due to failed tests, but its on a whole other level when a favorite to win gold in one of the premier events at the Olympics gets disqualified due to a positive test.

It's the old story of what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

What part of smoking weed makes it enhancement for competing?

I was gonna win the gold, but then I got high
Now I can’t compete, because I got high
Because I got high
Because I got high
Now I can’t compete, because I got high
Because I got high
Because I got high

It is said to be a time out. And she can still run other events.

To be fair her mother just fricking died and I doubt she was in a particularly good head space. She’s also like 20

If it disqualifies you, don't do it! Plain and simple

There are two parties at fault here: the dumb arse University for their dumbass rule, and the dimbass athletes that can’t follow it. It’s a shite blizzard of dumbassery, and everyone loses.

Still not an excuse. Sure, people deal with grief differently, but you've got to be smart about it

That's where you're wrong, there's only 1 party at fault, it's the athlete. The school is doing their part of drug testing

Their part is fricking dumb.
Enforcing a bullshite rule/law doesn’t make you right. It’s makes you legal.

It’s called personal accountability. Most of our athletes apparently have none

You’re going to the olympics and you can’t put down the bud for a minute
Mental addiction is real.

I love the mentality that argues all day advocating for weed while completely ignoring the only facts that matter. It’s against the rules and it’s still illegal in most places
Until it’s not against the rules, stfu about telling me why it’s ok to do it.

agreed. regardless of the legalization argument, if your sport literally drug tests you for stuff like this - you are voluntarily throwing the Olympics down the drain. beyond retarded imo.
