HR Sent a note to watch videos...

Oh crap.
Videos on inclusiveness and racial sensitivity. It was a cartoon, with a narrator and a main character. The main character was a balding white guy in his 50's or 60's. He was grousing about he had learned to tolerate all sorts of people but wasn't willing to accept them. Talked about women with big things on their head, wondered why they didn't just wear them at home and not come to work. This guy went on and on about his prejudices vs. people who did not speak his language or looked like him.
After I watched it, I did not feel like HR liked older white men very much. They chose this character to show a narrow and prejudice world view. They could have gone a different path. They could have had a narrator and no main character explaining we need to accept people for who they are and understand that diversity can bring different ideas and value to all of us. But in the end, I felt singled out. I understand others have suffered injustice, but more injustice is not the answer.

I would have told HR to shove it up their arse.

I know everyone isnt in a position to do it, but I would put my two weeks in immediately. frick that, The only way this corporate wokeness stops Is when the quality workers stop tolerating it out of fear of social repercussions or having to find another job.

Reminds me of some balding old white dude always grousing about not being able to go to a 7-11 without a thick Indian accent and racial jungles and whatnot

My wife parents the same way…. She teaches the kids it’s ok to be upset about the smallest things.
Whatever happened to “rub some dirt on it, you’ll be fine.”
This is simply teaching black folks it’s ok to be offended.
Pussification of America.

It's much deeper than that. It's an intentional political move to divide America to gain power for socialist and communist. Common sense and justice be damned. You're black, I'm white thus I am wrong. I fear we are seeing the seeds of our own destruction, and it won't be good for anyone of any race or religion. It will only be good for those who stroke the division and gain power from it.

My wife and I have decided that the day my company does the white privilege training that is the day I walk out. But not without a speech.
I will talk about not being judged by the color of my skin but by the content of my character like Dr King wished. Discuss my dad growing up during the Great Depression and dust bowl. Getting drafted to fight the Nazis. His entire life a struggle to stay even and feed his family. My mom with 7 brothers and sisters eating what her brothers shot or caught including one time blackbirds.
I worked in a coal mine to have enough money to go to UK and get my degree. My sisters too worked their way through school. We were not unique.
Privilege is usually economic, not racial. Do you think a white kid from a holler in Harlan County is more privileged than Obama’s kids? Michael Jordan’s kids?
This bull sheet is to divide people, not solve problems. Maybe more talk about what we have in common than what divides us. But no it is the white man’s fault. Men like my dad that fought the Nazis and endured the bitter cold of France in December 1944.
No. I am not going to listen to that crap.

Yep all about Division, their goal is to Divide and Conquer!
Posted on 7/1/21 at 8:56 pm to Marquesa
Yep, Tom MacDonald has a song called Snowflakes, that is very truthful in lyrics!
Give it a listen!
"Snowflakes"
If you lie to the government they'll put you in prison
But when they lie to all of us it's called being a politician
You think taking guns away will save our kids from the killings
But your pro-choice abortion kills way more children
If America's so terrible and racist
It probably isn't safe to encourage immigration, just saying
All the contradictions are embarrassing
You know who hates America the most? Americans
Trigger warnings used to be on TV for seizures
And now they're everywhere to protect millennials' feelings
He, she, his, him, hers, them, they
Screw a pronoun, 'cause everyone's a retard these days
I hear 'em preaching at a protest that hatred's the problem
But hating straight men, white folks, and Christians is common
Coca Cola telling people they should be less white
They preaching tolerance but if you disagree, they fight
There's a race war here, elections based on fear
Black lives only matter once every four years
Soldiers died for this country and every one of us benefits
Give welfare to the bums and forget about the veterans
Black folks and white folks divided by the news
But we're all the same, we are red, white, and blue
Ashamed to be American? Okay, that's cool
'Cause honestly, we are all ashamed of you too
Y'all are so fake, oh no
The forecast said that there'd be snowflakes, whoa-oh
You can't make us see it your way, no way, gasoline and propane
More flames, oh no
No more snowflakes
They set us up to fail, that's what they built the system for
Put an ammunition shop across the street from a liquor store
Empowering women used to be different than this before
The role models got OnlyFans or dance on a stripper pole
Screw it, I ain't tripping, I don't mean to be mean
But if our children are the future then our future is bleak
They take an Adderall to focus, hit McDonald's to eat
They're addicted to phones and they take Xanax to sleep
They blurred the lines dividing communism and democracy
In 2021 we paint the patriots as Nazis
The men playing women's sports get trophies for winning
Like great, let's celebrate a man for beating some women
If you're black, your life matters, you're supposed to embrace it
If you're rich or you're smart then you're probably Asian
If you're gay then you're brave, all of that I'm okay with
But if you're white, the stereotype is you are a racist
Blaming capitalism like that's the reason things are tough
While you tweet from an iPhone and sip on a Starbucks
You're supporting what you stand against you don't think you are but
A Percocet addict don't donate money to pharma
Damn dog, we're all afraid to speak the truth
And the more afraid we get, the more we hate the ones who do
You're ashamed to be American, okay that's cool
'Cause honestly, we are all ashamed of you too
Y'all are so fake, oh no

You can't make us see it your way, no way, gasoline and propane
More flames, oh no
No more snowflakes
We could all get along but there's no stopping, ay
Everybody's wrong, that's a real problem, ay
They don't wanna hear it but they still talking, ay
Soon enough we running outta options, ay
This ain't gonna end till it's in a coffin, ay
We ain't gon' be friends till we try to squash it, ay
I don't know how we can make amends or we drop it
Snowflakes melt when it's hot, kid
Y'all are so fake, oh no

What if you’d raised your and asked what if ‘accepting’ someone/thing violated your religious beliefs - kinda like some of those Muslims who hate Jews and homosexuals…

Truth…. Saddening but Nicely stated.

I would have asked how many complaints HR has received in the last 5 years about "racial insensitivity".

The company I work for is going down this same path.
However, if enough of those balding white men told HR to frick off, I can assure you this crap would stop. It's a pretty specialized industry, and if 5 or 6 of the right people told them to pound sand, it would all end pretty quickly. You find out just how committed they are to woke bullshite if the right people tell them to frick off.

If you happen to be an older white male, consider a harassment complaint against HR.
