thank you!! i knew there had to be a setting buried somewhere.

i like how they dont display this at the root level of that menu with a check next to it so you can't just turn it off with one click

Don't use Edge. Install and use Brave browser.

my job requires me to have multiple edge tabs open for testing code deploys and its just a hassle to keep a second browser going and chewing up memory.

i use alternate browsers on my phone but not really an option for day to day stuff on my pc

I use the Brave browser and slowly accumulate BAT crypto for the ads run on my browser. By the end of the year I'll have enough BAT crypto to feed the family at Chick fil A. lol

Use Brave or another browser that's interested in privacy.

FTFY - Opera is on the #Woke train worse that Microsoft or Google (which is saying something) and likely working for the IC.

Edge

Well there's your mistake.

Not at all. The original Edge was smoldering dog shite but the new Edge (with the green-blue icon) is essentially Chrome 2.0 (chromium.exe) with just an Edge skin.

Why can't you use Brave or Chrome for testing? Why Edge?

I am a developer and just trying to understand. I haven't run into an issue where Edge worked better than -uck, Chrome .

we have to support 5 million users on our site. their companies require them to use Edge or Chrome..until about 4 months ago it was almost all IE11.

anyway, i have to test in chrome/edge due to lots of squirrely issues with sessions & cookies that vary by browser.

using brave isn't an option and chrome is a dog these days compared to edge so i made it my primary and then backup testing on chrome.

Thanks. I was just wondering. I use Chrome when doing dev work because the dev tools are really good. I didn't like Edge's tools the last time I used them, but it has been a while.

BTW, are you DFV?

I didn’t realise that, I’ll check out Brave.

IE11 no longer supports M365 apps after August and won't exist after June 2022.

The computers at work have that. We have a lot of data privacy things to worry about, so they're pretty strict on what we use the computers for. I took and changed the stock section around so I could get a peek at my quotes through the day under the guise of checking the weather.

DFV - Deep F..ing Value
aka, Roaring Kitty and Keith Gill

He is the "not a cat" who made millions in the initial squeeze of Game Stop and he is doubled down on the real squeeze hasn't been squoze. If he is right, he might be the first trillionaire.

He is also known for telling congress, "I am not a cat". I think this came out after the zoom meeting where the lawyer had the cat filter on.

Anyway, I wish you were DFV. It would be cool for you.

I run my cheap little lap top in "Safe Mode". Should I switch out of it and let the Brave Browser open up? I have downloaded but it does not like the safe mode.

Help please?

Thank you.

ETA; I never really cared about this but, my Edge browser is suddenly doing "wacky stuff".

I think I misspoke. Opera isn't the long-time browser that just went #Woke AF - I think that's Firefox.

Opera got bought out by Red China in 2016.
