On Friday I'm taking my son to one of public tours they started offering earlier this month, so I'm curious if anyone here can share how it went and what they actually let you see or do.

Yes…it was fun…nice walk around and you get to see neat stuff… get someone to take a picture of you and your son at the win bar and on the field with the goalpost behind you…pretty good picture of the field, goalpost, and stadium extension behind you..definitely a picture you want to frame and have in family pictures..

I've done it for free, it's worth it if you've never done it before
I took a group of kids and we did the PMAC, practice facility and they let the kids shoot on the main court in pmac followed by football locker room and out of tunnel
I guess they are trying to eliminate that COVID debt
I would rather go see the football ops - I've done it before but not with all the renovations

I went before they renovated the locker rooms. It was cool. They take you to the meeting room and show you a film then they take you around through the decorated hallways and the locker room. Then you get to go out the tunnel and touch the Win bar. They didn't let us go out on the field but we could take pictures.

I want to go back again now that the locker room is new with the sleep pods.

Did it with the LSU family Council. Awesome. Great insight into the history, and got to see the locker room, offices etc.. Really cool to walk the tunnel, touch the win bar ! You should enjoy it tremendously.

We got to do a rivate tour when I started my MBA there. Not sure how much it differs from the public one but it was an awesome experience!

Yep in 2018 with my family. Chris Carrier's son gave us the tour and it was FREE! Toured everything under the stadium from meeting rooms to the locker room. Went out on the field and walked around the stadium. It was a awesome experience!

Is the Lawton Room included? I’ve been to most areas of the stadium at one point or another but that one.

Did it on Monday. About 15-20 people on the tour with us.
Start in Lawton room, where you see a recruiting video. Then the helmet room where all the 1st round picks are displayed. Get to see the 1958, 2003, 2007 national championship trophies (2019 not displayed yet). Then you move over to the locker room. Get to go in and see the game day locker room. Took a picture of my son in Stingleys #7 locker. They had a few helmets they let us put on and take pictures. Then you see the win bar and get to go on the field. The tour guide let us walk around the field a good bit, took a bunch of pictures under the goal post and in the end zone. Actually had a freshman players mom on the tour with us. 45 minute tour in total. Definitely worth going if you can find a ticket in August.

Once, and it was cool. My wife (no pics), 2 boys and I were traveling from Houston to PCB a few years back. It was in late July / early Aug, so the campus was void of folks. We stopped by to see Mike and were making a pit stop in the AD office area. V. Ausberry stopped us and asked if we wanted to take a tour of the stadium and locker room. He gave us the full tour himself and even gave my boys a couple of what he called game-day-hats. Cool experience.

I did it when I was in the TAF CC.

It's fun, you see the Jeff Boss locker room, tour the suites, the home locker room in the stadium, touch the win bar, eat the grass. The normal stuff.

I did the football opps tour given to the GCs the 1st week the project was completed. We also had a bad arse lunch in the building and met Chef Michael Johnson. It was incredible. They were still unboxing and setting up furniture in CEO's office. His office connects to a private covered balcony...very nice.
