If we're throwing grocery stores in the ring. Matherne's also has very good fried catfish. There's one downtown and one on campus.

It is what they are famous for, thin cut catfish. I personally really like it, but guess I could understand why others wouldnt.
Mike Anderson's spinach and artichoke dip comes with really thin cut catfish as well thats used to as a chip, very good.
