Commander's. Simply for their bread pudding.

Gautreaus isn’t as stuffy to me as either choice. Food is as good or better, and with a much better atmosphere.

I really enjoy Brigsten’s food but I don’t find it a place I’d want to go to celebrate something.

We've done quite a few birthdays there and it's been great. Just tell them you are celebrating the anniversary. They put some decorations on the table and for birthdays, there's a candle in the dessert and the chef and wait staff sing. I don't know what they do for anniversaries in that regard. Chef Frank typically visits the table.

That said. All my meals at R'evolution have been delicious, though I haven't been in some years. Commander's is always festive though for some reason, I haven't been as excited over the menu options. Food is always good, though.

Is very good, but I didn't think it lived up to the hype

Has anyone been since the new chef took over at Commander's? Any menu or quality changes?

Have a look at the menu when you get a chance - it sure seems smaller than in the past!

Did you go to the Buzzard’s crawfish boil Sunday? Great Bugs for the size.

That will be enjoyable. We’re heading down this weekend for a dinner at N7…can’t wait.
