If this is her reaction to the anthem after winning, surely she’s going to turn down any clothing, money, endorsements given to her in connection with the Olympics. I mean if she’s that upset with the country that gives her the freedom to do these things, surely she wouldn’t consider profiting/benefiting while representing the country that flag represents.
The thing is, we always see the pattern of protest and then profit. It’s out there when looking at pro athletes, Olympic hopefuls, BLM and so on. They all want to talk about how bad things are here but they damn sure cash that check.
Reps are the bad guys in their lives, but following the money to those getting rich off of all this leads in a different direction.
