Title says it all.
He has played Luigi's mansion, Mario odyssey, Yoshis crafted world, and Kirby star alliance.
I got him Minecraft and Pokemon lets go Pikachu but he couldn't get into them and he needs a new game.
Thanks Baws

I don't know if it would be too hard for him but everyone loves Breath of the Wild.

My youngest turns seven in a few weeks. He absolutely loves breath of the wild and Hyrule warriors Age of calamity. He also enjoys Bowser's fury, Mario kart, Luigi's Mansion, and a lot of the Lego games like Harry Potter and Jurassic world (though he needs help with these some).
Mario Kart has auto acceleration and where you can't fall off the edge. That makes it super easy and fun for them.

My 7 year old girl loves Mario Odyssey, Captain Toad, Smash Bros, Just Dance 2021, all the Labo games, the Skylanders games (but these can get expensive).
She also plays Among Us on the Switch but she's real bad at it.
ETA: Forgot Mario Kart. She loves that one too.

If he likes building stuff, give Nintendo Labo a look. At its most basic level, it's cardboard constructed peripherals that you then use within the software (though it offers a LOT of educational and creative stuff too).
There's a pretty good chance that Labo's been discontinued so it's going to get increasingly more difficult to find unused kits. That said, I was able to snag the first two kits (Variety and Robot) for well under MSRP on Amazon a few months ago. I got the third kit (Vehicle) at right about MSRP. The fourth kit (VR) was a bastard to find and I paid over MSRP for it but I bit the bullet because my 5YO son absolutely loves this stuff.
MSRP for each kit at launch was $70-$80. Each kit comes with the game card and all of the material you need.

Mario 3D all stars is good, it was a limited release but should still be able to find some physical copies

7&9 year olds here.
Mario Party
Mario Golf so far so good.
Breath of the Wild is legit but the challenges can get pretty difficult.
Hyrule for my 9yo
Super Mega Baseball I think? Pretty fun..

Mine just turned 9 but was 7 when we got the Switch. Loved Breath of the Wild and Splatoon.

BOTW. My son played it from 5-7 and we beat it somewhere early in his 7th year. He only gets maybe 2 hours of games a week so it was quite the marathon

I think he would love BOTW. I played it with my 6 year old grandson and he loved it.
He watched me play and quickly learned the ropes and before long he was climbing the walls of Hyrule castle to fight the "Ant" boss as he called Calamity Gannon.
Many great memories playing it with him. Really looking forward to the sequel.
