Sweetwater is the most well known and always a good time. Usually have live bands on weekends and they actually have some good food now too. Their philly bulgogi is damn good.
The beltline is a great place to have a walk or rent a scooter and go down it. New realm brewery is on the beltline and has a cool rooftop to look over the city. Right next to that there is also two urban licks with fantastic food.

I’m not familiar with any breweries but Blue Moon has several pizza restaurants in the area. IMO I like their pizza.

good local breweries,
Nothing good in that area near Truist, but if you want to travel, there's plenty. The craft beer scene is thriving.

if you know of any good local breweries,
Steady Hand is in between Truist and Atlantic Station.
Glover Park Brewery is in Marietta.
Horned Owl and Dry County are in Kennesaw if you hike Kennesaw Mountain (you can get a good view of downtown ATL from the top as well as Stone Mountain which you may want to visit while it is in its present form).

Definitely gonna hit up Atlantic station after looking through it, we’ll be there a few days
Don't waste your time. Atlantic Station used to be a pretty cool spot. Now it's basically a giant outdoor shopping mall. Go to Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market instead.
