This explains a lot of the lies for about the last 3,000 years or so. It is pretty incredible how much history is a lie or the complete opposite of what is claimed.

I have a couple of fairly long-time friends who I would call “moderate” (or how I used to think of mainline Dem voters in the 70s, 80s, etc anyway) who voted for and now express disappointment/surprise in how far left Joe’s admin is pushing things.
I have straight up asked each “what in the world in these past 20 years (at least) have the Democrats said, passed or stood for that made you think they were going to be moderate in their approach!?” Neither has ever provided a straight up answer to that question - they each just reiterate they thought Biden would be more moderate In governing.
Neither is what I would define a complete idiot - they’ve always been well read and can speak knowledgeably to a variety of different issues.
I just honestly have come to believe for whatever reasons some people have a blind spot or hold on to base things “they were always taught to believe true” despite reality unfolding right before their eyes.
It’s the damndest thing to me and I hope at some point the light switches fully on for some people out there who aren’t bad people at all but are just somehow still being fooled.
