I am preparing myself to be let down by Desantis. That said, what I like most is that I think Desantis can get into the weeds on WHY we're taking a Trump-like approach to something in a way Trump never could. He combines the tactics with the substance, and what's more, appears to have a good grip on why the tactics contribute to the substantive goals.

When Ron DeSantis defied Fauci's alarmist and tyrannical bull shite and kept Florida wide open, he got mountains of shite for it, was vilified as a serial killer, and he was standing alone like a deer in an open grass field with a ton of arrows pointed at him.
Where is he now?
Enjoying the status of the most popular GOP Governor in America that's widely responsible for the chain of reopening around the country and is just now starting to win polls against a former GOP President that's still has high favorables amongst the GOP electorate.
DeSantis is a stud and should be a Great President.
