When I was a student at Bama, I had a class project that I did on baseball history. I came up to Rickwood Field, and I arrived one afternoon just to take some pics of the outside of it, but the main gate was wide open. I walked right in, walked around the stands, walked out on the field, etc. Never saw a single person the hour or so I was there. Pretty cool to have it to myself for that hour. This was around 95 or so, and I don't think they were hosting many games there. Field was in pretty bad shape.

Last time I went to the Rickwood Classic there, we were able to go up on the roof of the press box(I think maybe it was the old press box?). There were a handful of other people up there.

Obligatory pic. The gazebo looking thing is where we were able to go to. Not sure if they still allow people up there.
