If the “real” POTUS were in office do you think he would tell China our debt is clear?

I’m pretty confident that the Covid19 virus was concocted in the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab. Whether the virus was leaked intentionally or accidental isn’t the issue, the issue is China, the WHO and the anti Trump forces around the globe did what they could to protect China and harm Trump……sorry Marxists, that’s just the facts.

With that said, at a minimum the US should tell China whatever debt America owes China is cleared and to be fair you owe every country that suffered from your carelessness restitution.

That’s a brilliant idea and it would be interesting to see if President Trump would have taken this approach.

I also wonder if the Chinese would take this as an act of war.

You should be on staff next time a president who actually loves this country is in office.

Interesting question. The US has just about reached a point of no return, and it would take something like this to somewhat offset the inevitable collapse incoming from the potato head, and this fake administration.

On second thought, I wont pretend to know the answer to this question, but does the ccp actually hold these bonds, or do they securitize them and turn around and sell them? Or buy them through funds that has dozens of other countries interest tied in?

Seems to me like the solution of 'we just wont pay these back' is too simplistic.

This idea already came from Trump. He stated that is what he would do at the NC rally they had last week. I think it is brilliant. Best way to wipe out our debt.

Before decoupling from China, including letting them know we owe them zero for our debt, we need to remove any medical reliance on them. Then supply us with week over 100 generic drugs Americans use daily. I'm not sure about other medical supplies, but if drugs are an indication, we rely on them for way too much.

That bridge needs to be crossed sooner rather than later, but it's going to take politicians who see a supply chain issue for Americans as a priority over getting there pockets lined with China cash.

An old saying;
If you owe the bank $1 million and can’t pay, you’re in trouble, but if you owe the bank $1 billion and can’t pay, the bank’s in trouble.

Maybe but I'd prefer he'd tell that to the Fed Reserve; we owe them a ton more.

There needs to be a list of items that are important to national security and well-being that cannot be made in foreign countries over a certain percentage, or at least only in countries in this hemisphere that we could easily invade and confiscate the supplies if necessary.

Medication, chemicals, electronics, food, and metals being at the top of the list. We could probably cover the increased cost if we stopped giving billions to foreign countries.

Insane? Says some dude on the PT forum that is probably fine with forgiving $1.7 trillion in student loan debt and is cool with reparations.

It would certainly make any country think twice about parking its money with the U.S., so we'd have that going for us.

Don't get me wrong, China is asshoe, and shitbag communist asshoe to boot, but I'm a little OC about paying my bills, and I think the federal government and the country as a whole should be as well.

I wouldn't have a problem in the world if the president sent an invoice for the China Flu, through Xi's emissary IB Chinaman of course, due on receipt for the costs in blood and treasure in dealing with their creation. If the Chicoms want to include our debt to them as part of the payment, fine. At the bottom of the invoice should be a date, after which a complete cessation of trade between the US and China stops complete, if the bill is not paid in full. No Chicom goods in the US, no US goods in China. Done.

Only a complete piece of shite would put themselves in debt to another person or country, and then use some unrelated excuse to relieve themselves of that debt.

It would be nice, but our political class sold our whole supply chain to China a long time ago.

The US still has leverage, but these dumbass politicians have completely screwed over the country by shipping all of our manufacturing out of the country.
