I was at the weekend series when we played MSU and it was Ron Polk's last season, and the he got a loud cheer/standing ovation from the LSU crowd.

And State and LSU fans use to go at it. But when it came to Ron Polk and Bertman, nothing but respect from both sides. He was the SEC’s trailblazer. If it wasn’t for Ron Polk, there could very be no Skip Bertman at LSU.
