SIAP: Joe Burrow Didn't Waste His Recovery Time

Looks like Joe is working on being the GOAT in the NFL and he used his recovery time to tweak some of his weaker spots.
“I don’t know what he’s been doing this offseason since he’s been hurt, but he came back way stronger,” Higgins said on Tuesday.
“The ball’s got a little bit more zip.”
It appears that what Burrow told us two months ago is pretty spot-on; he’s been working on aspects of his game that could make him that much more dangerous as a quarterback in the NFL.

The only thing that Joseph Burrow has ever wasted is fools.

He certainly has a quality of focus and determination you dont see often in sports today. Mostly entitlement.
But I still always think about him getting destroyed by that UCF guy in bowl game....I thought he was done for the game....and he literally been a complete machine since that very second

It’s not uncommon for athletes coming back from injury to have worked on better mechanics and strengthened supporting muscles.
Tee Higgins and Chase are 2 absolutely fantastic WR for Joe to grow with. That’s the makings of a Manning, Harrison, Wayne level partnership (not stylistically but quality wise)

I had a Facebook post ready to go soon as he won the Heisman.I'm still proud of it.

"Lets take this moment to thank a different Joey.
Not Joey Burrow, not Joey Brady.
But UCF DT Joey Connors. He did this. Connors awakened the beast who decided, in this exact moment of the Fiesta Bowl, that he'd never lose another game under center for LSU.
LSU fans Thank YOU, Joey Connors."

Yep. He never played a down of football after this game and went on to coach high school football while Joe Burrow went on to the Heisman Trophy, The National Championship and becoming the #1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

I have seen him lay waste to secondaries.

I guess this means you don't wanna be Facebook friends.

I get it. Something about Burrow though is that he is always trying to improve his weak points and doesn’t just try to get by on his strengths.

Now Cincinnati just need a Joe O-Line

Joe Burrow is an amazing athlete. Absolutely amazing. But it's in his DNA.

I’ve always thought it’s his Brain, Joe is always the smartest guy ... in the stadium.
He used his Brain to get past his 2018 level of performance (which was quite good). His intelligence is what makes him the GOAT.
He just happens to have the physical machine behind the Brain.
