no, as a pitcher

he did play 3rd a little in high school, but clearly that experiment this year at LSU was uh..not good.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but he has 17 appearances (9 starts) in 39 innings of work.

39 innings / 17 appearances = 2 1/3 innings average per appearance.

The last time he pitched more than 2 innings was April 24th.

The fact is... he hasn't been extended much in recent weeks. Maybe he should have been.

Now look at Coleman. He went 4 against A&M on May 20th. He's been stretched out more.

Yeah , it is a shame that we lost that game and Coach Paul with 1504 victories didn't consult with you to make that decision.... damn shame.
