It would be one thing if he got taken out because he was struggling, but Hellmers was pitching really well

Collegiate Baseball has become a joke tbh. No one really uses their rankings anymore and their awards have gotten way watered down.

Agreed and I don’t even necessarily think Hellmers should have been an All American.
But the fact that he was considered shows how good he has been this year for a freshman.
And not only did we barely use him in the regional, we barely used him down the last stretch of the season in general

Andrus peat is a pro bowl lineman for the saints. Sometimes award lists and accolades are meaningless.
I’m not saying he’s not a good player but you have started a bitch thread whining that a player didn’t play more based upon him being named to some list

In a game where we were short on pitching, we took out 2 guys that didn’t up a run after one inning......both of them starters
