Bjorkgren was informed today of decision to dismiss him, sources said. He met with management on Tuesday. Pacers are expected to pursue a more experienced, established head coach in this process. Bjorkgren lost locker room and much of organization in his one year as coach.

Makes it more likely Pacers move Brogdon, Turner or Sabonis imo.

Or the players hated him (they did) and ownership and the front office fired the coach to appease the players.

Could go either way tbh.

Props to Indy for having some balls. They actually had a better season than us, including a few head to head games where Nate outcoached SVG down the stretch, and they still did the right thing and moved on even though it’s tough to make that call after only 1 season.

Less likely. The players hated his guts.
