Best hitting lineup of the year. Finally think we are on to something here.

I guess the number of pitches trumps days rest
yes... there's no reason to rest if you weren't extremely taxed
why a closer who pitches 1 inning can keep coming back night after night so long as he doesn't go more than a certain number of pitches in an outing
ETA: in Hilliard's case... he only threw 60 pitches 2 days ago
if he's used to going 80, 90, 100 pitches... his arm shouldn't be too roughed up from the outing 2 days ago

Yeah I kinda figured that when he said that he expects it to be hellmers and then money.

I just didnt know what the number of pitches were for each and if it were somewhat close ,would the extra day of rest that he has over hilliard mean that its possible for marceaux to do the same thing as hilliard and give us something if we had to have it.
I dont remember the number they threw

If he gives us 2-3 solid innings then our remaining arms should be in good shape. I think Hellmers could eat up 4-5 innings and then Floyd can shut the door

Do yourself a favor and ignore anything tbob says about baseball, he just started watching it

Isnt it amazing how far our young pitchers have come. I mean, its like they all flipped a switch at the same time, well besides money, money flipped that shite off and its dark as frick.

Hellmers isn’t going 4-5 brother. We need a solid two out of him. Anything more than that is icing! Ideal I think is this:
Hilliard - 3
Hellmers - 2
Floyd - 2
Fontenot - 2
**Fowler may can give us 1 too**
Hilliard - 3

I'd like to see Marceaux get an inning or 2 after Hilliard comes out

Neither he nor Hester stayed up to watch last night.

Regardless how this game is pieced I feel confident about tonight if these four pitchers play like they should.
