He's no match for a blue shed.

I didn't even look at the comments. There is more than one person commenting who thinks Myrtle Beach is in Florida, too.

Having lived near there my entire life, I'd submit that Myrtle Beach is Florida's northernmost city.

Myrtle Beach is like if North BR had a beach

That's a big one.

Gators can only run 10-11 mph tops on land for a brief amount of time, however due to their weight they run in a zig-zag pattern which slows them down. Pretty easy to run away from if you don't fall on your arse from fear.

Sauce Piquant time......
Alligator sausage-----
Fried Gator......

Freak accident. Gators kill at pure convenience most of the time.
Had that toddler been splashing on the opposite side of his full grown father - the gator likely swims away.

They can move very quick for short distances. Certainly quicker than I can.
The lawn service company found one about that size in my aunt's side yard. It was just laying there in the shade. She was at least a quarter mile from the nearest body of water. Rural/suburban Louisiana. 13-14 feet, which I thought was rare when you are away from larger bodies of water. Apparently it was feeding on nearby livestock.
A fence can reduce the likelihood of you being surprised by one. The larger ones are unlikely to scale a fence, but the smaller ones can do it pretty easily.

It knows there is no Cajuns in South Carolina, so it is safe from being eaten.
