Have you ever been to Gainsville?

Do the white Oakleys stay in Gainesville or does KOS bring them with him?

This and I will take it a step further. Sully's and Pawl's resume are pretty much exactly the same. The only difference is Sully is younger. Now when LSU hires him he may end up doing better but just talking about comparing them right this moment.

Sully currently has:
- one of the highest salaries in college baseball
- in a more talent-rich state
- where he grew up, and calls home
- and where his family lives
- with no state taxes
- in a rapidly-growing city
- at a program he built
- that has more recent success
- in a brand new ball park
- and every resource he needs to win titles
- without that “do or die” pressure
- and works an athletic dept that isn’t mired in investigations right now
You guys are clinging to hope for a guy who’s gonna leverage our opening for a raise. Their AD just re-upped Mullen’s contract to $7.6 million through 2027 and extended their mediocre basketball coach. He also made Tim Walton one of the highest paid softball coaches when Texas came calling a few years ago. You guys think he isn’t going to do the same for Sully?
If you think he’s going to give all that up just for a bigger crowd of people and a “change of scenery”, bro I got some news...

How many people shot last night in Gainsville?

Lol please don’t glorify Gainesville as some beautiful up and coming city. It’s a shithole town full of white trash. Always has been.

Baton Rouge is the fastest growing shite hole in the country-look at our mayor and police chief. What do you expect?
Posted on 6/4/21 at 12:45 pm to jbird7
Gainesville is a more expensive city to live in than Baton Rouge is. Not that that is a deciding factor, but Louisiana is a low tax state as Florida is.

That might’ve been true 10 years ago but from this statement I can tell you haven’t been there in a few years
Posted on 6/4/21 at 12:47 pm to gumbeauxgold
From the area actually. Was just there a few weeks ago.

Oh ok well in that case it’s gonna be especially insulting to you if Sully picks the shithole town over Baton Rouge

Will you still be posting when the hire is announced?
Posted on 6/4/21 at 12:54 pm to Choupique19
Bc LSU is like the Kentucky basketball/ Alabama football of baseball

Do some of you even read the post, or just the title?

Florida had great fan support previously?

No they don’t
You’ve got the usual baseball experts talking out their asses though

Nah not really. I’m not exactly sold on Sully.

I’d be happy to be wrong and I’ll be the first one here ecstatically eating crow
But I also hope you’re here when we hire a G5 coach, because we live in the same world where Texas and South Carolina fans also thought they weren’t beneath hiring away a high profile P5 coach
