Interceptions and sacks were about the only thing we did well last year. Usually that leads to success defensively but we were also incredibly talented at giving up 50+ yard plays

Is there such a thing as an interception that IS NOT caught?

An interception inception

It’s a pick within a pick

As were most teams. With the offensive fire power and offensive schemes in today's college football, you're going to give up some big plays. Yes, even bama.

Most interceptions “caught”???

Am I the only one who finds that phrasing odd? Why not just say most interceptions?

If it wasn’t caught, then it wasn’t an interception.

Ask PFF College. It's their tweet. But I don't think it is something to be troubled over. The word "caught" isn't needed but it doesn't ruin the meaning of the sentence by being included.

Have you ever heard a phrase like "Justin Jefferson caught 12 touchdown passes last season"? He's a WR. If he scored a TD wouldn't it be assumed he "caught" them? Would it be a TD if it wasn't caught????

Is it necessary to say "scores" for a YouTube video? Couldn't they just say he had 3 TD's OR 3 scores?
"LSU Wide Reciever Justin Jefferson Scores 3 TD While Also Putting Up 163 Yards Recieving"

LSU vs TX Jefferson CAUGHT 3 TD's

Statistics can't be wrong. Everyone with any college football knowledge knows that Colorado State had the BEST defense in 2020.
