Does the Board think we’ve earned a regional spot?

I’ll go out on a limb and say no.

Gonna get really interesting if Bama strings together a couple more wins.

10th seed Bama has beaten #7 seed South Carolina and #2 seed Tennessee while we lost to Georgia. I think Bama has our bubble spot based on this.

I think we did enough in the sense of finishing our SEC schedule strong. I think it hurts that we started so poorly, and finished with a loss in the SECT. It's just going to come down to whether or not the committee wants to cap the number of SEC teams in instead of just taking the best 64 teams. With our loss to Georgia and Bama winning 2 games, we've likely slid to #10 in the SEC. I'd like to see Bama get thumped twice now and for Georgia to to get thumped again tomorrow - that may put some doubt in the committee's mind, given we beat Bama 2/3, the Georgia came was close, and our resume is as good or better than both of them as an entire body of work.

We are fine as of today, but this has become a day by day thing. Everyday is crucial for us, and there is nothing we can do about it. If Bama pulls together a few more wins, it will get very interesting. Also depends on other at large teams, in other conferences. It just sucks because all we had to do was win 1 game and we were for sure in, and now we’re all sweating bullets waiting for Monday morning.

Definitely! BTW that’s a dumb question. If they get it, they will deserve it. It won’t be easy to win games if they do. They’ll have to battle.

Based on RPI and SOS, and compared to other P5 schools on the bubble, yes.
