I have said this for years. Really curious as to why he wanted to hit and run with Milazzo batting...bating .160. With two men on.

The decisions have been questionable at best for much of this season. The other issue is the big gaping hole in the batting order. We had 4 or 5 in the lineup that could hit yesterday. After that it was a dead. So every other inning or so you get the chance to score, then your bats go dead for an inning and a half. It's really f'n hard to win a fight with one arm tied behind your back. I get that it's unlikely to have .350 averages top to bottom but to drop into the .100 range? So to me it's not just the decisions, but the decisions that are forced to be made because of the absence of the ability to develop a reliable offense. After going down 4-1 in the first inning the writing was on the wall. Being down 3 runs after one inning shouldn't be insurmountable.

Looking forward to a new chapter in LSU baseball. LSU was the cream of the crop. It used to be that place you would have to go through to get to the CWS. Hasn't been that way in a while. I look forward to the return under new leadership.

And two spectacular hitters coming up. I could understand it possibly if we had Milazzo behind Milazzo.
