It seems like Californians/libs are flocking to Texas and while conservatives are moving to Florida. Also it seems like Desantis got Broward county under control; we all know how that county likes to take a week to count votes

Texas was probably more purple than a lot of people think before the Cali libs started making there way there

My question is how many more EV’s should Idaho get when 7 counties in Oregon secede?

Yankee transplants are as big a threat to Florida as Cali is to Texas.

Are they?

Retiree's from the NE and midwest have been coming to Florida for a LONG time. That's not some new phenomenon like you have now with a lot of young people from other parts moving to Texas (in large part, Austin). Yet, per the OP's premise FL is becoming more conservative. It doesn't really sound like the annual yankee transplants going to FL have been that impactful in recent years. In fact, on some of my more recent trips to FL I've found many of the people who have moved to FL from the NE and (especially) midwest, are every bit as conservative as anyone in, say, Alabama.

For Texas it is a lot of younger people (who tend to be more liberal) moving in. For Florida it is still the older population (who tend to be more conservative) moving in.

Eating brunch at a brewery in downtown San Antonio right now.

Dude walks in with a Biden mask on and sits down at his table. Instead of taking it off he has it under his chin.

Dumbass.

ETA: After 20 minutes he finally removed it.

it’s not the “Cali libs” that are making Texas purple

Look at the Dallas Burbs... IF TX ever goes Blue I will blame it on Tarrant, Denton, Collins, and Dallas counties

I’ll just leave this here

The sixth borough: Florida state records quantify defections from NY

Florida might as well be known as the sixth borough.

New data from the Sunshine State’s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles offers the latest glimpse of just how many New Yorkers fled south during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At least 33,565 New Yorkers exchanged their NY drivers licenses for Florida credentials between September 2020 and March 2021

Sounds possibly more towards conservative
