Lafayette Baws Rejoice: Chick-Fil-A to close Ambassador Location

Chick-fil-a is closing the Ambassador location completely, thus no more blocking an entire lane during rush hour to get Braxton some nuggets. A long standing Lafayette tradition is ending.
They're moving into the old Red Robin location near Costco. That place doesn't have a turn-in right in front of the restaurant so I'm assuming their massive line will just spill over into the shopping center parking lot.

Damn. My parents live in Fernewood so Ambassador CFA is always convenient when I’m visiting. Oh well, not too much farther away

Now close Canes on Congress, idiots block roadway all of the time at that location.

It won't be until 2022, they are demolishing the Red Robin and building from the ground up.

Good move for them. Something needs to happen on that stretch of Amb Caffery, because looking like a graveyard of closed restaurants.

Chick-fil-a was one of the only reasons I even traveled that far down Ambassador, the only other reasons that I have now are Lowe's and Home Depot. Everything seems to be shifting east of the river.

I went to Lowes today around 11:15. That chic fil a line was backed up to Robley.

I don’t understand the fascination with Cick Fil A. I agree that the service is great but the food is just ok.

That whole street is becoming a dead zone. Gone is the sign store, Circle K, Fratelli's, and now Chick Fil-A. They may as well raise that entire block and start new.
