That you don't understand that you just gutted you stance on this topic makes it clear that you cannot be reasoned with.
OF COURSE you 'should' choose the less painful situation if offered only two choices.
I presume you want us to believe that you would rather 'they' continued hitting you on the head with a baseball bat unless they deliver you to a VIP Box for the National Championship Game along with a catered hummingbird-tongue feast for your 20 devoted fans.
Yeah sure - and we all know you'd have starved willingly on the Donner Pass.

The third position. I'll take the bat from you and beat you.

Your entire boomer generation’s philosophy of compromising your principles, choosing the lesser of two evils rather than looking for good, and accepting the state of politics instead of fighting it is a very large part of the reason our society is in the state it’s in.
oh hell - shove you smirking bullshite back into your mouth.
I don't know what "boomer" is - and I don't care to look it up. My version of "boomer" stops with the Oklahoma chant of "Boomer Sooner."
You seem quick to stick with labels and random complaints.
As for politics, I am a firm advocate for settling for nothing less than the most conservative candidate that can be summoned forth during the PRIMARY season of any election cycle.
But once that person is chosen, regardless of how far up or down on my personal scale of acceptance he was, I will - with 99.9% certainty - vote for him in the general election instead of whichever hypocrItical hack the DEMs put forward. I will NEVER waste my vote on some 3rd party candidate, or stay home, or (gasp) vote for the DEM - ever - ever - ever.
YOU can stay home and suck your thumb in despair that your 'perfect' image did not get chosen in the primary by others. Anyones fights on this level should remain in the primaries. In the general election it is a binary choice
- you choose the less evil every time.
And I'd like to hear some rebuttal to /\ that /\ general decision based on something other than insult or platitude.
When you find yourself in a hole - quit digging.

Yes and other options likewise exist beyond voting for a Repube or Democon. Saying that 3rd Party Candidates offer no election viability is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Continuing to vote in this UniParty® charade is a vote for the left and right wing of the Deep State. The current crisis continues until the true supporters of limited government come to this inescapable conclusion.

I’m not smirking. I meant every word of that.

Which sums up and proves every point I made about your compromising and lack of principle decision making along with accepting and supporting the status quo of the ruling class

You’re still choosing evil. And worse, you’re not even doing it silently. You’re openly asking people to choose evil because some other evil is worse.

I agree. You don’t. I’d stop digging. You would just dig slower and call it a victory .

So if the election was between Mao, Stalin, and Hitler you would choose the least evil and campaign for him instead of fighting the process and system itself?
How about a circus clown, a communist, and a mental patient?
You’d choose between those three and the rationalize and love with the decision?

You and your generation had your chance. The proof that your beliefs and methods in the political arena don’t work are the times we live in.
Look where your method and your support got us.
Are you proud of the society and state of the county you helped build? Do you feel a sense of pride when you vote for the “least evil” candidate that continues to destroy any sense of morality or normalcy we had?
Do you think more compromise and more choosing “less evil” will eventually correct this problem?
You keep choosing “less evil” but the choices get more evil everytime.
Stop digging and look around. I’m begging you. I feel like I’m beating my head against the wall when I try to show this to your generation.
This is why the generation you raised is so easily manipulated, immoral, hypocritical, compromising, and blind. You raised them that way. And you’re proud of it.

I always get a kick out of some boomer conservatives here railing against current events as if it’s a mystery as to how we ended up here.
You just know they’ve got another tab open on Amazon to order their cheap Chinese shite in between rants and posting on Facebook.

You're barking up the wrong tree. I was raised by Falangists, I frankly want a much different system than any of you.

If he was running in Arkansas I'd say hell no. I'm not as concerned about CA because that's a whole different world of self created misery.
There are the benefits of him giving the media fits and him possibly opening up the Rep party and moving CA red in 24 which would seal the deal for the country and that's my bigger concern. I can see both sides on this.

Not at all. I'm not as ornery as I come across on here sometimes. I'm very much live and let live. I just think that in order for that to be a viable solution, you need a stable political and social system. Unfortunately, the progressive agenda does not allow for that, and the conservative agenda, which supposedly is supposed to help balance that, really just pushes it along.
I'm searching for a viable alternative.

You are as dumb as the other guys are saying.
I'm a boomer as are most of my friends. All of our kids are older than millenial.
You do seriously need to stop digging. Your point(s) have been lost.

Yeah, I'd vote for Bruce. He is loony but still more normal than most politicians.
I might even vote for the strange bastard 3-4 times.

Bruce lost his mind because of his family.
Think about it, he goes from Olympic gold medalist who is idolized by everyone to being the boring old “Dad” in a family full of whores. All the women were put on pedestals to the point where I think his own masculine ego convinced him that if he changed into a women he would be as famous as they were.
I just don’t buy that he felt that way for a long time, because you don’t do the things that man did while wanting to be a woman. It goes against everything that he has turned into, which is basically a basic white bitch.
