Georgethegreek and I were given a shoutout when they ranted about the big meanies on TD. They always came across as whiny and trying too hard to me. I think they were given a pass for a lot things because as you said, they were one of the only LSU podcasts available at one time.
OTOP on the other hand is excellent and I enjoy that they branched out into bourbon and cigars. They’re far more relatable than the clowns at Pod of Geauxld ever were, IMO.

I think Moscona generally speaking is a good guy but damn if he’s not the most arrogant douche with a big platform covering sports in Baton Rouge then idk who is. He has times where he tries to be funny and a “bro” with any big guest he gets on... but then stuff like this comes and just makes him look so much more lame. He is so beyond full of himself

This is the real answer. I also think that making a weekly podcast is probably fun for a while but over time it most likely starts to feel like a chore, especially when its a hobby and not a job.
What I meant by Covid beat them is that during the beginning stages of the pandemic, we went a few months without sports and without any real news. They put out maybe 1 pod during this time. Next they put out a preseason pod and then we lost to State and they pretty much called it a season. They made like one pod the rest of the season. Covid killed their podcast.

Right. And when they were hinting at the Mulkey hire before anyone else, Matt was on his “consider the source” rant. Then OTOP was right, again. Matt just can’t believe that OTOP has become one of the most reliable sources around LSU.
