I screamed all night to draft Bey, at 13, and then at every single pick he kept sliding back to. Hell i said it like halfway through the season last year that i wanted to draft Bey. The recent history of Nova players made picking Bey a no brainer.
I know there was a few others who kept talking about going after Bane all night during the draft.
The one positive is that Naji has looked good during his short time here so far. Hopefully he can become a more solid 3 point shooter next season.
I think the thought process was they needed to move Lonzo off ball, so PG was a priority. Kira may end up being a good player, but what is his cieling? He's too small to be a guy that can switch around on defense.
If the thought process was to eventually have Zion be the point, then drafting a more defensive minded PG or 3 point shooting PG would have made more sense, OR A FRICKING SF.
