I feel like the only one who didn't really like them in the last season of Clone Wars...so I think I will wait until all the episodes come out...check the reception and then watch it later.

I got about 20 minutes in this morning. Huge cameo early on. Very interesting to see Order 66 from a different perspective.

My kids got up early to watch before school and when they saw it they were stoked.

I'm wondering how they move forward with the concept of basically a female Boba Fett. Do we see an adult Omega in The Mandalorian? (Perhaps played by Frankie Adams - Bobbie Draper from The Expanse)

You're not alone, I didn't particularly care about them either in Clone Wars. I'm assuming they'll weave their story in to the larger arc of the Star Wars story and we'll see their perspective of other important characters and events so I'm going to watch it, but if it's just side missions of them doing stuff I don't care about I probably won't last long (I don't anticipate this to be the case).

I think they may have been better perceived if they were in the original Clone Wars episodes. As is they seemed rushed in the last season to setup for maybe this.
I will say though I enjoyed the episode and the cameos already seem to connect more dots. Where they are headed will be another connect back to Clone Wars if I am correct based on their destination.

Saul Guerra or am I missing something?

It was a solid first episode. Would be interesting to see if they cross paths with Cal Kestis to bring him in.
I believe that cameo you are referring to is this guy.

I swear that's who I originally thought, but was thrown off by her calling him Caleb! Forgot that was his birth name. Thanks

There was a book published almost 10 years ago called "The Bad Batch" that introduced them.
As far as the cameo, Caleb Dume is the birth name of Kanan Jarrus.

This was good.
The best premiere out of all of the animated Star Wars shows so far. It was action packed -and pretty engaging.
Glad we don’t have to wait long for the next episode.

Composer Dave did some good work on this episode. Need to promote The Mandalorian guys up to do the live action movies and let him move on up to The Mandalorian.

Solid start. I wasn’t overly excited about them but knew it would probably be worth it. I’m glad the focus is on the period after the fall of the Republic. Great opportunity to bring in certain folks and connect some dots

I’m watching now. I would be glad to see the Kaminoans get their contract breached. They deserve to be screwed by this whole thing.

Is this set after Order 66? Has to be, right?

Probably my favorite period in the Star Wars universe. It's only, what? 19-20 years? But a hell of a lot happened in a short amount of time during all the movies so there's a ton of material they can crank out in this time period. A ton of untapped potential.
The video game, Jedi Fallen Order, gave me a taste and really captured the helplessness but hope that people had during this timeframe.
