He only was burned a lot because the 49ers kept trying to play him in fricking man coverage. Sherm is strictly cover 3. He’s not fast but he’s rangy and can come up and tackle. You need Physical Ball Hawks in a cover 3 system. Which is what the Saints will be running this season. Cover 3 with a mean pass rush kills offenses.

He is hot trash as a player and person. I would rather not make our locker room more divisive than what Jenkins did last off season.

I actually agree with you. He was never a dude who had serious speed.

Dennis Allen is a Greg Williams disciple. He runs an attacking blitzing defense. Not a zone scheme.
