Tellurian: A Potential Hundred Bagger?

"If Driftwood is successful, there will be many Tellionaires. (I’m in a Discord group of 800 fellow TELL investors, many of them with enormous percentage allocations to TELL: retail has noticed this stock!) After commencing full operations, Tellurian should be returning significant value to shareholders in the form of either dividends or share buybacks. It could even be the dream stock, the Holy Grail of investing: a multi-bagger returning more in dividends/buybacks annually than we actually paid for the shares!"

5-10 bagger on FID... maybe 40-50 bagger on full development in 4-5 years. 100 bagger is nonsense.
Not expecting FID until later this year though, so company management will have huge eggs on their face from basically promising construction starting this summer. The abundance of Qatari LNG deals being made is a concern as well. But I'll take a super speculative position here if it drops under $1 again this summer from trading disappointment over FID delays. Cheering for these guys to pull it off as it'll be a good job creator for Louisiana, but not sure it's gonna happen. If it does, probably late 2021 or early 2022.

Okay I just put some money down on this speculative play. If it doesn't pan out I'll just yell at the two of you for costing me a couple hundred bucks.

I think this summer will give you a much better entry than right now.

I think ultimately international nat gas prices will be a problem. They're up now but pre-covid were down to $5/M.

Company announced they are spudding a well in Haynesville Shale yesterday.
So far have they met setbacks as a call to develop a bigger business plan. Appear to be headed toward goal of complete vertical producer, from ground to ship for LNG. And creating some interesting brokering options.
As previous poster said, would be an excellent achievement for La. And of course investors.

I'm wanting to get in, but don't like the entry point right now. What are you seeing that points to summer as and entry timing? Natgas market? project details? other?

People will want the FID and wont be getting it. So they will dump and move on

My thought process is by July or August that it's clear there's no "FID by summer" and this stock will sell off massively. You also have the risk of Total pulling out at the end of June. If Total pulls outs, I don't think they ever hit FID. If Total stays in and no FID by summer, I think you can still load the boat here somewhere between $1-$1.50 per share and get a 5-10 bagger on your money IF they hit FID in late 2021 or early 2022.

Thanks. I know a coupe people that work for Total and they have been in a spending halt and budget crunch for a little while now. Would not surprise me if Total does pull out... OR maybe the budget crunch is so the CAN invest... hhhmmmm...

Speaking of Total/Tell
This week Total had to declared force majeure on its LNG development in Mozambique. Total had ~$15bn in loans attached to the LNG project.
So on the one hand, def a cash crunch for Total.
On the other hand, Total said almost 90% of the projected Mozambique production had already been sold through long-term contracts in Asia and in Europe.
NS Energy News article
Those orders will be filled somewhere, maybe Total steps up greenlighting the Tell/Driftwood project?

I disagree with waiting for a cheaper entry point. The pot odds are still great at this price and you can always average down.
