Path to a Regional

Lose two out of three to Arkansas. But take two of three from Bama, Auburn, and A&M. Does that get us to a regional? And Auburn and A&M are both sweepable imo.

Auburn is awful. Bama and Aggies are really not good either. Can win 7 of the last 9 SEC games. Win 1 against Arkansas and win today is 15 SEC wins. Win 2 games in the tournament LSU's RPI will be around 16 not only are they in but in conversations to host a sub regional

What Paul has done with this team is incredible. With the injuries and youth and Coronavirus and dealing with the distraction of the schools Title 9 crap
I was a critic but man he is hitting a grandslam right now. He still has it IMO. He's gone through some personal stuff recently and the way he has bounced and helped this young team bounce back.
Paul has my full support back. I think we make a regional and win it honestly. This bounce back has made me realize how much I enjoy Paul and his no nonsense coaching approach

It's 2 games if we are in the same situation next weekend I'll be impressed. Honestly this weekend has show me Ole Miss isn't very good.

Feel like ceiling for sec record is 13-17 with the way the Sunday starter situation is right now.

Totally agree. The fearlessness on the base paths, the continued development of our pitching staff, and the take no prisoners mentality to dial up that grand slam in the 9th inning shows me LSU baseball is back and Paul just needed time for things to come together this year.

The way we're improving, I don't see why we couldn't get an at large. I don't see us hosting because the sites are being announced early, but if we take 2/3 the last three weekends, plus 1 from Arkansas next weekend, then a game or two in Hoover...that should do it.
After all the bellyaching I've done to this point (with good reason), making the postseason would be a huge improvement. And imagine if Dugas, Beloso, and Gio were to come back...that team would be much improved.

Lol, with the exception of the Title 9 shite, every team is dealing with these same issues. If we don’t make a regional, PM should be gone. This is one of our most talented teams we’ve had in a while.

What is the worst sec conf record to make the tourney? That’s what LSU is shooting for. I know teams have gotten in at 14-16. Has anyone won 12 or 13 and gotten in?

13 wins has gotten in a few times. Its close to 50/50

Alabama is a product of who they've played
They're in a stretch of A&M, Auburn, Kentucky, and Missouri.
They go to Vandy the week before LSU so hopefully Vandy reminds them they suck
