Anyone listen to this awesome podcast by former detective Woody Overton ?
In the 9 part series called "Monsters" for some reason he doesn't give the names of the guilty. Does anyone know who this story is about in real life?

Is it good? Should I listen to it?

Yes. He goes through real cases from his career from a behind the scenes perspective. He's a great story teller.

I really like his accent

I watched a YT video by a guy named MrBallen (I think) about an abduction that took place in Alaska. I regret doing so.

Is it about the Courtney Coco murder

Thread hijack: what’s the podcast about the Louisiana girl who some podcast fans apparently helped solve the case?
I remember seeing the thread and was telling my wife about it but now I can’t find it.

Same podcast that helped solve the Courtney coco murder but the case I'm asking about is not that one.

I’m on the Courtney Coco one and it’s absolutely ridiculous how much time he wastes, each episode is like 90 minutes, no need for that. It’s a tough listen bc he constantly repeats himself, there’s like 20 minutes of each episode that are unnecessary. He’s big on the “no editing “ thing but come on, do we have to stay on hold for a phone call?? Man just edit that crap out. The content itself is great, respect the heck out detectives, I feel awful for Detective Rabalais

I started listening to them after seeing the story on here. I'm 4 episodes in, and feel like I know just as much about the murder as I did before listening. Been a total snooze fest so far... He mentions about how he doesn't want to give too much away because he doesn't want the perp knowing they are coming for him, which I get, but also shite give me some content to make listening worth my time.

I finished the Courtney Coco series including the update after an arrest was made and it left a lot of questions unanswered. Like what was the motive?

Check the 9 part monsters one. Very good and interesting case

The pulled episode that was put back into season 3 has all the answers you are looking for as far as the evidence.

Thank you! He looks exactly as Woody described him.
A lot more to the story than was reported. That fat piece of shite was not only doing coke but wearing women's lingerie and banging his own stepdaughter in the living room when his MIL caught them. Then they killed her. The stepdaughter is a real piece of shite too and ended up getting off light and is out free now.

I just finished Monsters as well.
Here is the BS document for the Stepdaughter he was banging:

That squash
What's the Dennis/Cynthia Perkins one? Did he have an episode on that?

I am on Season 5, and I am hooked. Some episodes I like more than others, but Woody knows how to tell a good story. Some are completely riveting.
