$2B in property damage
Just in insurance claims. That doesn't count LEO overtime, National Guard deployment, hospital costs, lost employment, or lost revenue.

Peel away the socialism/marxism/critical theory
At the root of all this is the abandonment of truth and the willingness of power structures to let lies prevail and punish people for telling the truth.
Three examples just in the last few days:
WH comments on the Ohio shooting
Lebron on Ohio Shooting
Krugman claim
All are either false or incendiary based on false premises. There are no consequences for any of them. You can say, "politicians lie" or "Lebron is too much of star" but it's worse than that. In even a "normal" materialistic, greed-driven world, news media would come out and shite on LeBron and the WH because it gets clicks and happens to be the correct thing to do. But they won't. Same with Krugman, not only won't be punished by his employer, he won't be held to account by any "neutral" entities.
When people talk about how social media is misleading and things aren't that bad, etc., I think the abandonment of truth is what we have to emphasize. This shite is pervasive and is getting worse and is going to have very real and felt consequences for normal people.

Paul Krugman: Arguing with Zombies - Trumps the Republicans
I love how he skipped use facts
What a fricking clown. The guy is no doubt educated but witty he is not. Peterson, Shapiro, Crowder, Savage, etc... would wear this bitches lunch.
quote:
The Nobel-winning economist and New York Times columnist is at the top of his game in eviscerating those who have dragged America down
quote:
The New York Times columnist Paul Krugman has four essential rules for successful punditry:
Stay with the easy stuff
Write in English
Be honest about dishonesty
Don’t be afraid to talk about motives

K Paul, now do police violence against unarmed blacks.

Hearing a statement by Krugman is an easy way to know that the total opposite is the truth.
