There's a few big cannabis reform bills that have been introduced in the legislature and at least one of them is moving forward.

The most likely one to pass in the a bill to allow medical cannabis patients to use whole cannabis flower. As of right now, only tinctures and edible forms of cannabis are allowed, which is dumb. The bill to allow cannabis flower is getting a hearing in the Health and Welfare Committee on Thursday (tomorrow).

You can email your state reps about this bill: LINK

The other bill is less likely to pass but still pretty interesting because it was introduced by a Republican, which makes it more likely to pass. This bill from Rep. Nelson (St. Tammany Parish) would put a full marijuana legalization referendum on the ballot in November 2022. Yes, if this bill passes you will be able to vote on legalizing weed.

You can email your state reps about that bill here: LINK

Republicans call the shots in Louisiana Legislature and they think their constituents don't want to change our weed laws. They're more likely to change their tune if they know that isn't the case.

To be against simply letting the people vote on this issue in the first place is to be a self-righteous fricktard. I hope there are fewer self-righteous fricktards in the legislature than normal thinking legislators.

For real. That's why it actually has a legit chance of passing. The pols get to take this middle road of saying they don't support legalizing it but they do support letting the people decide.

Man I can't think of anything worse than being a toker (former or current) who refuses to back legalization. That's weak af

I will explain. Pot in the 60s 70s 80s 90s had THC of no more tha 3% now they are producing the new stuff with 20% THC. THC is addictive at that percentage. Also that shite stinks like skunks.

We are not being stopped. But just imagine that instead of getting your natty lights at the Walmart, you had to meet someone in the parking lot and buy unlabeled beer you hoped were real natty lights.

Imagine thinking someone wants to drink natty lights.

It's a plant. Grow it. I am friends with Cheech and Chong, they grow and consume with little effort...because well, they're potheads.

That’s also illegal in my state for some reason. Sorry about the natty light, whatever your drink of choice, point remains

No it's not. Tell me of once instance of someone not feeding their children or dying from weed because of a high percentage of THC.

You are ignorant to the fact that hash has existed for decades.
