Would You Be Afraid To Exonerate Chauvin If On The Jury?

It's easy to be brave behind a computer, but the question is simple. This is a global story and the jurors names will get out...Especially if it's an exoneration.
Would you be afraid of the mob attacking your home, your place of employment, your family if you felt Chauvin was innocent?

Yes, I would vote him guilty and let the appeal process exonerate him. Also, I would have NEVER agreed to be on this or any jury.

I'm a contrarian by nature so I'd relish the chance to be the lone holdout

Yes. The left has gone that far where normal people should be concerned about doing the right thing.

You would be stupid if you did not fear having your life destroyed if you are on that jury... People's lives have been destroyed for much, much less lately...

I would not let the mob influence my vote but I would hide my family

I would vote not guilty, and then I would have the governement move me to Costa Rica, and live like Henry Hill....LOL

Nope , I’d like to believe that there are still principled people that believe in rule of law and freedoms

No kids, so no. Not guilty of murder. The drugs and him being on the shoulder and the fact no officer abused him gives me reasonable doubt.

definitely.
Pontius Pilate knew Christ was innocent but caved to the mob. Even though God used the whole sorry episode to bring about salvation, cowardice in the face of mobs is nothing new.
pray for the jury's courage and discernment, as well as their safety after the verdict is handed down.

I would take precautions for my family, but I couldn't sacrifice another man's arse to save my own.

All that’s necessary for evil to prevail is the good men do nothing!!! I’d do my duty and vote according to the evidence and then use common sense to deal with the aftermath. If good men don’t start standing up for what’s right this country is doomed!!!

I'd try to secure a fat book deal so that when my name gets out, I'm armed to the teeth and completely out of harms way. But there's no way I vote guilty with the amount of reasonable doubt going here.

I would make sure I didn't get picked during the Voir Dire. It's pretty easy to not get picked by just telling the lawyers you aren't capable of being objective. If I still got picked I would not exonerate. Too much heat.
These answers lead to something I've been thinking about. The ways juror's are selected and allowed to sit in on hi profile cases need to be modified in a way that the jurors are much better protected.

my family would have been on an extended vacation since the beginning of the trial, and yes I'd hold out.

In Arkansas probably not so much because of the surroundings and gun laws. Up there, probably. I mean they basically outed where one the jurors lived.
Leadership has already shown they will let attacks occur and buildings burn.

I've been on a murder jury before. We were completely sequestered. No outside news was available that hadn't been edited first, and no TV news, period. There was no Internet at the time, so no option for unfiltered news.
I felt no personal fear for my safety or the safety of the other jurors. Today, I would still have reasonable doubt, and would not vote guilty. But I would not trust that my family and home were safe from the prying, agenda-driven media and subsequently, from the hordes. I would have done everything possible to not be on that jury in advance. I would have stated CLEARLY that I was biased and 100% believed Chauvin was innocent and nothing would change my mind. "No, I couldn't listen to the evidence and have my mind changed "

No, what I saw with my own eyes would require me to vote guilty

I would be very afraid indeed, to find him Not Guilty. I would be afraid for my safety for the rest of my life.
That's just the reality of this New USA and the New Law.
