Hard to believe Mason Smith and Nussmeyer are the same age.
Smith looks like a grown man and Nuss looks like a kid

Talent and depth on the defensive line is insane.

We are seeing why Myles cant be the starter. This oline isn't good enough to keep a clean pocket. We have to have a QB that can avoid the rush.

Anybody know Johnson vs Brennan stats for the game?

Yeah Nuss is looking like a true Freshman today lol. I’d say his future can be bright, he has some wiggle and made some nice throws and some bad throws. With that being said, he should probably take the redshirt this year unless 2 guys ahead of him get hurt or TJ transfers out. I just don’t see TJ higher than #3 at this point in time. Love his arm but he hasn’t looked any better than he did last year. Maybe he can get after it this summer/fall and really take the next step with accuracy and consistency

Koy at runningback may not be bad at all.

Boutte just got tomahawked by Dwight lol

Dwight was the MVP of the spring game

White Offense:
Myles: 11-15 106 yards 1 TD

Purple Offense:

*Johnson did have a TD called back on White Offense for a block in the back downfield

Dwight would be mine too. He turned heads. He took this game seriously and put his mark on it. Hats off to him.

Koy still needs to be suspended.

Also might be facing the best Defensive front they'll face in 2021.

More good than bad today, for sure. O Line looked improved vs a great D Line. The secondary looks like they’ve taken a big step forward.

Quick takes:
- Johnson = QB1. Myles B/U. Nuss after. Nuss young will make mistakes, but can tell he has moxie the ability to develop. Johnson has a chance to be elite with long ball improvement.
- Young WRs have a chance to make immediate impact. Room aside from Boutte wide open. Kirklin looked good. 10 looks slow. 6 looks the part, excited to see him develop. Would have liked to see 2 get more looks.
- TE is a concern.
- OL looked solid. Impressed with young OL - Hill, Bradford and Martinez. 74 still has a bit to go, hopefully uses the next year to develop. 72 looked really good as well for a true FR.
- Young DL will be a problem for the SEC. Best shape we have been on the DL since O started.
- LB group hard to guage with the offense today. Excited to see how M Jones transitions here.
- Defense backfield will be much improved in 2021 if they can stay healthly. 2 and 5 look much improved along with 21. You can tell 6 will be a problem with experience.

We can’t run block and haven’t the last three years

What happened the the offensive lineman who was injured early last year. From Baton Rouge can’t remember his name.

CEH had 1400 yards in 2019.
Brosette had 1,000 in 2018.
