Partially that, but I had a livewell pump housing break once and took on a bunch of water pumping into the bilge before I figured it out. I also barely sleep at night when I leave the boat in the water. Seacocks would help that

I understand, I think I would plug the old holes and go into the bottom or use heavy duty thru hulls and double clamped connections. you could also get a valve that threads directly onto your thru hull so you have a valve upstream of the livewell pump. Thats if none of the seacock on the market fit.
Groco also makes a small tri flange like the one i sent.
