He has shown he can play better, at the same time the rest of the team needs to be stepping up. Kira in particular is getting DESTROYED.
Zion is averaging 37% usage as point Zion, playing a physical game, can’t expect him to also be a lockdown defender too the entire game.
It’s like Lebron, other guys need to know their role is to step up defensively if Zion is carrying you offensively.

I will say they probably didnt gameplan for this version of the cavs. Normally they would be playing heavy isos with sexton and garland and mixing in pick and rolls with allen. They are playing as more of a team tonight

That happens with rooks at times and he’s really young. Kira’s main issue is offball defense. He gets beat on cuts a lot. Offensively if he could make more than 10% of his floaters, he would be extremely dangerous.
I missed him waving off Gundy. I’m stuck watching this trash cleveland broadcast. Their analyst can literally barely speak lol.
