shitport times
what a complete load of crap. people aren't leaving the republican party because of the riot.
like me, they are leaving because the spineless two faced communist funded piece of shite Republicans that won't stand up for the people.
I left the party during the impeachment trial iirc.
I am still conservatove- moreso now than ever. I just want real leadership that represents what the people want- not some assclown like bill Cassidy that I unfortunately voted for

You’re right. They’re leaving because of pussy traitor carpet baggers like Bill Cassidy.

I’m one who left. LA Republicans have done nothing for me.
A couple of weeks ago I wrote to all my state and federal representatives minus Cassidy (not worth the time) to ask them what they were doing to get Louisiana to open back up since we are surrounded by states wide open without mask mandates. Out of the 5 I received only 2 responses. Sen. Kennedy sent an out of date predrafted letter and Rep. Higgins sent an up to date predrafted letter that didn’t come close to answering my questions.

Correct. I changed my registration to independent. Though I believe I have to change back to vote in the Republican primary.

Commies have now taken over the GOP?
Boehner was right about the crazy caucus taking over.

Obfuscation. It is what the left excels at.

Exactly my reasoning. Constitution Party is the way to go. They’ll never win shite, though. Which is unfortunate, because their platform is awesome.

Louisiana needs closed party primaries. It’s the only we can improve the quality of our GOP representation, install guardrails for GOP/conservative bass in the process of choosing a nominee for statewide contests and provide clear and convincing finality and resolution on the nominee.
If we had a closed primary in 2015 and 2019, JBE would’ve never come close to sniffing the Governor’s mansion.

Went Indy after the vote to begin the impeachment trial
Riot in DC had zero to do with it. Just like I’m sure the GOP had a surge after all the summer riots that the MSM conveniently never mentions anymore

“Independent” in Louisiana is a party. They mostly lean left. Screw that. In Louisiana, if you’re sick of the piece of shite, sorry, good for nothing, filth that makes up our political parties, you should elect “No Party”.

This just shows you how easy it is to be a "journalist" these days. You look at a set of numbers and give your opinion. A real journalist, if those exist anymore, would ask questions. Why did the numbers change? Surely this dummy can't think the ONLY possible reason someone would change their registration was because of what happened at the capitol. There were plenty of other things going on. Most importantly Bill Cassidy decided to shite on the constitution.
ETA: The headline is factually true, but it doesn't do anything but build a narrative.
