We'll be at the Sabercats Stadium to watch my son.

Ronnie Killen's restaurants are here in Pearland. Killens bbq is probably the 1 "can't miss" you'll find here. Don't miss it! Brisket and/or beef rib. He also has a tex mex joint (TMX), but I haven't been yet. His fine dining steakhouse, for the price, is just ok. His burger joint is solid.
Grazia is a good Italian and pies restaurant. Would definitely recommend. Awesome patio if the weather is right.
Chinese at Pepper Twins. Bahn mi and pho at Pho L'Amour. Vietcajun seafood and wings (and bao) at Boiling Dragon.
Not much great Mediterranean around here. Arabella and Cafe Taraiz are your best options, but neither is special.
Vallensons is a great local brewery if you're into that.
Killens bbq and Grazia would be my Pearland suggestions.
ETA: The good thing about this burb is that you can get downtown/montrose/eado/midtown with an easy 15 minute drive up 288. Even faster if you're already at the stadium. Venture out to El tiempo or Ninfas on navigation. Xochi downtown. Hugo's in Montrose. Or any of the other fantastic options in that area.

Thanks man. We right on 288, on Google Maps it says a portion of it is closed near us, hopefully it doesn't mess us up. We may head downtown Sat night.

There are a few Killens Restaurants are in Pearland area and they're all good. If you had to pick one, go with BBQ. https://ronniekillen.com/
Agree with poster above that you should check out one of the El Tiempo locations or the Ninfa's on Navigation.

Lebanese
THere's a Dimassi's down there in Pearland. It's a Mediterranean buffet that is like $14 and has tons of variety and better quality than you'd expect from a buffet.
In town, I like Abdallah's on Hilcroft, Petit Cafe on Eldridge, and Al Quick Stop in Montrose.

He's playing with the NOLA Gold U19 team. Looking forward to checking out the stadium, pictures look pretty nice. It has to be better than playing in a baseball stadium like the Gold do.

Assuming you’ll be at AVEVA.
Soul Food by Catherine is 4 miles to the SW of the stadium.
Shrimp gumbo, fried ribs and collard greens are delicious, as is other items there.

That's great. What position is he playing and who are they playing against? I'd come out and watch but I'm actually heading in to Nola to catch the Gold game this Saturday.

The Gold Mine is a nice venue. They still have some reconfiguring work to do, but it's in the top half of venues in the MLR.

He plays Hooker for the Hurricanes but I think they have him as a prop. They playing the Crusaders on Sat, and Woodlands on Sunday.

Lived in Pearland for almost 10 years now. My non-biased take.
We have a lot of chains, avoid them if you can. The population here has undergone a shift in the last 5-6 years and that's all people go to. Service is very hit or miss but if you stay to the east of 288, you will be fine. After 6pm, getting a table at most places is going to be difficult. A few of the places below take reservations and I would recommend doing that.
Killen's BBQ is probably the best bet. The line has been starting to get longer on Saturdays. Rode by this past Saturday and the line was 20+ out the door at 11:30, so plan accordingly.
Grazia is good. If you can get there for Happy Hour on a Friday, you can load up on appetizers and drinks for pretty cheap. Most of their specialty items are really good. Get a reservation.
Good Vibes is a new Hamburger joint where the old Biergarten used to be. It has a great outdoors area for eating and drinking. Burgers are a little pricey but if the weather is nice, it's the best outdoor eating scene in Pearland. Get a reservation.
We really don't have a lot in regards to Chinese, Japanese, or Thai that's not a chain. I would honestly go downtown for something and avoid down here. Szechuan Spice is probably the best we got. Sakura and Shogun are crap. I would drive to Friendswood and go to Masa Sushi.
We did have a Paris Bahn Mi open up recently that people have enjoyed. We haven't tried it out yet, but friends have said it is good for a sandwich.
If you want donuts one morning, go to Pena's Donut Heaven & Grill. They have the best donuts around here.
Red Circle Ice Cream is good for a treat but is not cheap.
If you want Pizza I strongly recommend Center Court Pizza & Brew. We have two locations, one has more of a bar feel, the other is more restaurant style with a bar. Great pizza though. Brooklyn Pizza is another place that opened up and has good thin crust pizza.
Avoid the usual Tex-Mex like Gringo's and Jimmy Changas. The mass amount of people and basic food will make you want to kill yourself. Killen's TMX is good. They scaled back from when they originally opened. It started as a high price Tex-Mex but is now a lot more reasonable and the drinks are top notch. I would suggest go there. Get a reservation.

100% agree here. Everything is a little pricey for a pizza place, but damn that crust is good. Really good wings too. And a great beer selection for Pearland.

I know the owner of Stadia Sports Grill. His brother in law and I grew up together. I can’t speak for the food there because I’ve never been but the dude can cook the hell out of some carnitas and Mexican food.

How is the wait there, I’ve also heard good things about Kileens

Two weeks ago on Friday about 20 minutes at noon.
Think you can order in advance. They also have some cool specials worth asking about.
It's a very good BBQ joint.

No offense to your friend but you could not pay me to eat at a Stadia. The food was terrible. The service was not good. The place was not clean. We’ve tried the one in Town Center and Pearland Parkway. Both were equally bad.

No offense taken. Know the guy that’s it. I have no idea how he runs it or if he’s really involved in operations. His wife is sisters with a family friend of mine is the only connection. I’m honestly glad to have feedback so I don’t recommend to a client or anything.

Thanks for the feedback everyone
