The police chief ruined his own credibility when he lied and said that a knee on a person's neck was NOT something that the department was trained on as a restraint technique. It was.

The police chief lied in the media, so nothing will happen to him, and when he lies in court, it's further doubtful anything will happen to him.

The biggest issue was saying handcuffed people can’t continue to be a threat. Womp womp

Did the defense call him out on that yet? Initial perjury charge would come from who?

He will have to appeal until he gets a judge with common sense. No way should the trial have remained in that state.

This should show all cops in democrat areas that they will be sold when it matters most.

And to think I actually considered applying to NOPD when I got out of the Army in 2012. Can't believe I did that.

He's guilty of using the shite the police force taught him to use.

They are also TAUGHT to use DE-ESCALATION methods. Can you tell me at what point was CHAUVIN and the other officers in danger after Floyd was handcuffed, laying in the prone position and Chauvin's knee on his neck?

How can he get a fair trial in Minneapolis?

Did George Floyd get a fair trial?

It is also in their policies and procedures to render aid, yet Chauvin and his cronies decided not too do that.

I am sick of talking about that dead crackhead, who threatened a pregnant woman with a knife. What a stupid world we live in, where this is even news.

When was EMS called/dispatched? Was it after GF complained of breathing issues, and collapsed wile cuffed with the first officers who pulled him out of his car. Or were they called after Chauvin and Co. got involved?

The question you should ask is WHY didn't any of the officer's render aid, and also didn't allow the firefighter to render aid to George Floyd.

So, it wasn't the knee on the neck, but the failure to render aid that killed Floyd? I wonder what aid they could have rendered to save him while he resisted arrest AFTER telling them he couldn't breathe?

Because the criminal resisted restraint every time they relented for what 30 minutes?

But I love the pivot to "rendering aid" one year later.
