Looking for someone on somewhat of a tight budget of $200. What would you suggest? Dosent have to be new although I have some gift certificates to the local pro shop that I wouldn’t mind putting to use.

Just wondering what I should be looking for, been out of the game for a while.

Not sure what you'll find there these days, but I'd increase my budget to $250 if I were you.

Do you plan on playing more frequently from here on out? If so, PXG is offering the brand new 0211 series for only $289 plus $50 shipping. You get to completely customize the club for no additional cost. I'm about to get one of these 0211 series, myself.

Taylormade M2

Get one of these and you’ll love it.

I picked up a Cobra Speedzone to try recently and I like it so far. Coming from a SIM Max before that.

Go to your local golf store. They have a used rack. You can dig through it and find something that’ll work. They will usually discount the advertising price, because they didn’t give shite for it in trade in.

Any of the last Taylormade or Callaway would be fine. Cobra F9 or newer.

You have the Epic Max LS? If so, I'm assuming you like it?

I just picked up some Epic Speed fairway woods and they are super nice

a few months ago I bought a 717 titleist on ebay for 130 bucks. you can find a couple models old of whatever brand you want on ebay. still great drivers. just not the latest and great technology. you won’t notice.

someone suggested M2. I know a lot of people liked that driver. played taylormade for awhile. on my 2nd titleist driver and I love the feel of it. considering going to get fitted for a new driver next month. but feel like i’m just going to pay all that money for a newer titleist with minimal gain.

Disagree, the last two models of drivers from the big manufacturers have done a great job of getting consistent spin and flight out of mishits.

If you center it up, you're right, older is the same because of CT limits, but the Sim, Maverick, G400, etc models and newer are incredible at reducing deviation on off center strikes

Whether that's worth it is up to you, but saying it's no different is not right.

yeah i’m sure it will help. just doubt it will help enough to benefit the cost.
